Positive-Attitude Power over circumstacnes

There are an awful lot of times in our lives when we have pain. It comes in all shapes, sizes and amounts – and for some it trips you up for a long time. We all understand it and we all have been there. Some stay there way too long. And some have or develop such a great tolerance and threshold for pain that it seems to follow them everywhere they go and hang around a long time.

We cannot avoid pain – BUT we can learn how to manage it and rule over it rather than it managing and ruling over us.

Let the pain drive you relentlessly to action and to overcome the sources of that pain so you can win this game. You have the power to do it. You have to really know WHY you want to overcome it – and WHY you are NOT going to let this pain in and rule you anymore.

Pain creates a lot of energy – negative energy.

But energy can be transformed and your goal and outcome is to transform that negative energy build up inside you into the SOURCE – the FUEL – that drives you even harder, even more relentlessly and more persistently to your goals and the solutions that will transform that pain energy into pleasure energy.

We also need to learn how to “chunk it down” into manageable pieces so that pain does not continue to overwhelm you and rule you.

 

How do You Do That?

So here is what you should do:

1) Identify the top 5 things/sources that are causing you that pain.

2) Identify clearly what those things/sources are doing to you that you have translated into pain.

3) Put them in order of priority – from 1 to 5 – the first being the one that hurts the most and is causing the most damage and the fifth being the one at the “bottom of the totem pole” as the saying goes.

4) Now take each of those pain sources in their order of priority and work on them one at a time by:

a) Identifying what things, actions and results you know would remove that pain. If you say you don’t know – then think long and hard again. Chances are real good you do know – you just haven’t been able to or willing to face what it will take to get rid of the pain. If you really cannot come up with the list of “solutions” to the pain then seek outside input, guidance and support from those you know, trust and who understand really what you are going through. And of course there are many books, courses etc that you can seek out and use to help you get to the bottom of it all.

b) Identify what and who would benefit most from removing that pain.

c) Identify the end goal you want from this effort. Don’t just say – I want to remove the pain. Focus on the specific, positive outcome you seek.

d) Know what is your DRIVING FORCE that will move you into immediate and persistent action to remove that pain. Whatever or whoever that driving force is – take their picture or pictures and put it up on your vision board or wall and make sure you look at it many times each day and also carry that picture(s) in your pocket/wallet/pocketbook etc with you wherever you go and look at it frequently during the day. For most it is their spouse/partner, kids, parents, family. And really feel what it feels like to have that pain and know that it is hurting you, and those people and things in that picture you are holding. I mean REALLY feel it.

5) Now list and undertake your action steps that you will take persistently each day to make sure this pain goes away.

a) Keep the list to 3 high priority things for each of your five pain sources you already listed.

b) Attack them and resolve them one by one by displacing the pain with the “solutions” you wrote down for each one of the pain sources.

6) Resolve and Promise Yourself – and those persons in that picture you are holding – that you are not going to “try” to overcome the pain. Resolve and Promise that you WILL DO what it takes to overcome the pain and

SEE IT DONE – FEEL IT DONE – GET IT DONE!

So…

Go forward and BE the person you are MEANT to BE and START…
